I’m a copywriter and content marketer with a weirdly specific flair for writing about homes and real estate. Yes, I did win the Clara Byrd Baker fifth grade writing content for my fictional take on extraterrestrial life on Mars—but I’m guessing that’s not why you’re here.

At some point after the fifth grade, I received a B.A. from the College of William and Mary in English and Psychology and moved to New York to attend New York University’s Summer Publishing Institute. A subsequent internship at This Old House turned into four years of writing, pitching, researching, fact-checking and DIYing for the magazine. I went on to freelance write for many more print and online publications, including Apartment Therapy, Bob Vila, and The Family Handyman.

More recently, I pivoted from telling stories as a journalist to telling stories as a content marketer. I have worked for top-notch companies like Hamilton Beach, Capital One, HomeLight, and Vacasa, helping them to connect with potential and repeat customers and showcase their stuff in a polished, professional manner. If you’d like to talk about how I can help elevate your brand’s content, feel free to reach out.
